"Fresh seafood at a reasonable price. Good discounts for seniors as well. My mother loved her whole fried fish. I very much enjoyed the snow crab legs, which had good flavor and were juicy. Batter on fried calamari, pickles, onion rings, and shrimp were a bit thick for our tastes though. Alcohol is not served here and you also cannot BYOB."

"My family and I went to the Mayflower Restaurant for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised. The parking is easy in a very large lot next to a mall area. There were no lines or waiting although there was a steady stream of customers. The menu features mostly seafood choices, but there are also chicken, burger and pasta options. The service was great and very attentive to our needs and request. It was some of the best seafood that I have ever tasted. The portions are large but the price is reasonable. We will be going back again."

A more ample seafood serving on a senior seafood choice, even if at a slightly higher price, heat in the restroom, hush puppies that taste more like cornbread, and a more flavorful tea. A very good experience that I wish had been great!"

"The food was pretty decent. You received a large portion and were able to take another meal home. The shrimp and crab dip wasn't really anything to write home about."

"First time at this location, I will surely return. I splurged on the platter, lemon cake and clam chowder. I did not know until I pulled off, there was a small service fee added, like $1.95. I almost gave five stars but the breading didn't stick to scallops, the jumbo shrimp didn't appear to be deveined, the whitefish was tasteless and no utensils were packed in my bag. Hey it would be nice to add lemon with the condiments too. I'm not sure if the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce are homemade but they had good flavor."
